Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply and develop advanced technologies for systems integration of fuzing devices, controllers, software, and electrical/mechanical interfaces for missile systems and space vehicles.
  • •Support development and production programs across Raytheon product lines and review manufacturing processes and problem resolution.
  • •Manage fuze development projects and propulsion subcontracts, including review/disposition of subcontract data and change requests and oversight of supplier operations.
  • •Serve as frontline technical lead by mentoring engineers and delivering technical presentations to management and government agencies.
  • •Interface with customers to identify user needs and independently uncover and resolve issues related to operational missile program development and implementation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 10 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in fuzing/one shots/engineering technology and/or engineering design.
  • •Experience designing, manufacturing, testing, and supporting safety certification/compliance for fuzing devices.
  • •Project management experience applied to team interaction and deliverables.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship is required.
