Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and provide daily support to the welding team.
  • •Assist the supervisor with coaching, mentoring, and training team members and contractors.
  • •Complete welding assignments and procedures for construction and repair of site structural stands safely, on time, and professionally.
  • •Coordinate work with support groups (flight control, fab/civil organizations, engineering, etc.).
  • •Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan welding operations when procedural information is unavailable.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •7+ years of welding experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, or FCAW (college welding program experience qualifies).
  • •Experience as a combo welder fabricating and welding carbon structure, carbon pipe, and stainless pipe.
  • •Experience leading a team or project.
  • •Knowledge of occupational hazards and effective safety precautions of the welding trade.
