Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain, repair, troubleshoot, modify, and install electronic equipment and related devices, including radar/radio/telecom/navigation aids and computers/terminals.
  • •Apply electronics principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment operation.
  • •Evaluate performance and reliability of prototype or production-mode equipment and recommend changes to circuitry or installation specifications.
  • •Perform simple or routine maintenance tasks such as replacing components, wiring circuits, and repairing basic electronic equipment following detailed instructions.
  • •Take test readings using common instruments (digital multimeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, oscilloscopes) and complete work under close supervision.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
  • •General experience as an electronics technician.
  • •Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background screening.
  • •Ability to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation and obtain/maintain a CAC.
  • •Desired: two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship (or equivalence) and electronic certification/apprenticeship preferred.
