Key Responsibilities

•Own end-to-end LLM-based systems from user intent understanding to multi-step trip planning and invoking internal services for search, pricing, and booking.
•Turn open-ended product problems into concrete ML/LLM designs while balancing quality, latency, cost, and reliability in production.
•Drive cross-functional decisions by partnering with product, engineering, and leadership to shape product direction and user experience.
•Ship rapidly and iterate using production feedback to continuously improve system behavior at scale.
•Collaborate with data engineers and platform teams to ensure robust evaluation, monitoring, and governance of ML systems.

Key Requirements

•Strong hands-on data science experience including modeling, feature engineering, statistics, and experimentation.
•Experience building and operating production LLM systems (e.g., RAG, tool/agent orchestration, context/memory management) with emphasis on evaluation and iteration.
•Ability to translate open-ended product problems into concrete ML/LLM designs with careful trade-offs between quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
•Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort operating in evolving requirements.
•Experience partnering with product, engineering, and leadership to drive cross-functional decisions and shipping end-to-end ML solutions.
