Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive CMP process technology development and enablement for high-volume manufacturing and future technologies, including process integration and equipment solutions.
  • •Lead design and development of technically sophisticated manufacturing processes and repair reverse engineering (material selection, parameter optimization, equipment metrology, system design).
  • •Conduct pathfinding and feasibility studies to support process and hardware development, including theoretical simulations and practical engineering approaches.
  • •Recommend and implement operating equipment modifications to improve production efficiency, manufacturing techniques, and output for existing products.
  • •Partner with equipment and materials suppliers to develop enabling technology elements and maintain awareness of industry process/material trends to build future roadmaps.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in an eligible STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science, or Semiconductor-related) with a focus on hands-on experimental research.
  • •Hands-on experimental lab work.
  • •In-depth semiconductor and transistor device physics, including advanced transistor device structures/architectures and fabrication (e.g., lithography, etch, film deposition, cleans, CMP).
