Job Summary

Own post-silicon manufacturing validation and debug for AMD data center GPU products, with end-to-end responsibility for power, thermal, voltage, and frequency (PTVF) characterization. Develop manufacturing test plans and optimize test coverage, conduct deep-dive root-cause analysis across silicon, firmware, platform, and test infrastructure, and validate stability across DVFS and thermal corners to improve yield and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and deploy post-silicon manufacturing test plans to ensure comprehensive power, thermal, voltage, and frequency coverage.
•Lead deep-dive debug of manufacturing and system-level failures to identify root causes across silicon, firmware, platform, and test infrastructure.
•Analyze PPA trade-offs and optimize test coverage to meet performance targets while maintaining thermal and power efficiency across HVM conditions.
•Validate stability and guard-banding across DVFS states, thermal corners, and real-world workloads.
•Drive yield and quality improvements by using manufacturing and field-return data to improve fault detection and increase final product reliability.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Electronics/Mechanical Engineering, with 5-7 years of experience in SoC thermal validation and debug.
•Proven post-silicon debug experience including silicon bring-up, manufacturing test debug, and failure analysis for complex SoCs or GPU/CPU platforms.
•Strong PPA/PTVF domain knowledge, including power management, DVFS, thermal behavior, voltage guard-banding, and performance optimization.
•Experience designing and optimizing high-volume manufacturing test flows (ATE, system-level test) with a focus on coverage efficiency and defect screening.
•Hands-on debug capability using logs, telemetry, and instrumentation, comfortable working across Linux environments with scripting (Python/Bash) and data analysis.
