Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead requirement elicitation through client interviews and workshops.
  • •Analyze business processes and define As-Is/To-Be workflows.
  • •Define and document business and functional requirements, producing BA deliverables such as BRDs, screen definitions, interface requirements, and functional structure diagrams.
  • •Support testing planning and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), managing testing and troubleshooting of enterprise applications/systems.
  • •Collaborate with project managers on scope control, issue management, and change requests; align clients, development teams, engineers, functional consultants, and testers, communicating in Japanese when required.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role in IT system development projects.
  • •Strong experience in upstream BA phases: As-Is/To-Be analysis, business and functional requirements definition, and early solution shaping.
  • •Solid understanding of the system development lifecycle in Waterfall and/or Agile projects.
  • •Ability to clearly explain requirements and BA deliverables and lead stakeholder consensus.
  • •Business-level English communication skills (written and spoken).
