Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide and coordinate patient care by assessing, reassessing, and implementing patient medical plans and treatment, in collaboration with physicians and healthcare specialists.
  • •Record and monitor vital signs, recognize and escalate abnormalities, and administer medications/treatments while monitoring side effects and reactions.
  • •Perform essential life support within regulatory requirements and scope (including BLS, PALS, ACLS, and neonatal resuscitation as applicable).
  • •Support maternity care across the care continuum, including labor progression monitoring, induction of labor care, post-partum care (including fundal massage and blood loss monitoring), and breastfeeding advice.
  • •Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, assist in invasive/non-invasive procedures, coordinate with obstetric/neonatology/pediatric teams, and facilitate safe admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

  • •Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant regulatory health authority requirements.
  • •Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
  • •Be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
  • •Maintain and update technical and clinical skills related to nursing practice, including routine newborn care and electronic fetal monitoring (CTG/central monitoring).
  • •Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
