Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide leadership, training, and supervision for concrete delivery professionals, including daily workforce management and coaching personnel.
  • •Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance, including safety inspections, Take 5 meetings, storm-water/spill prevention, and accident/environmental investigation support.
  • •Oversee batching operations and maintain plant(s), including equipment inspection, calibration of moisture probes, and routine plant maintenance.
  • •Maintain quality and production records, including daily product testing, stockpile management per DOT standards, and maintaining daily black diary.
  • •Drive operational performance and administration, including on-time delivery and KPIs, timecard review and payroll approvals, paperwork/reporting, inventory and raw material coordination, and controlling expenditures.

Key Requirements

  • •1+ years of experience with ready mix concrete.
  • •Able to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel, and read/write/speak English.
  • •All plant managers are to be DOT certified (DOT certification preferred).
  • •Able to read and understand maps and perform mathematical functions for billing, volumes, and quantities.
  • •Able to operate batching, billing, and communication equipment with good computer skills (management/staff supervision experience is a plus).
