Job Summary

Join BEUMER Group's Calgary-based Engineering team as a Mechanical Engineering Intern/Co-Op to support mechanical design, analysis, and project execution on mineral and mining projects. You’ll create AutoCAD drawings and 3D models, assist with documentation, and gain hands-on experience alongside seasoned engineers in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

•Assist the Engineering team in solving mechanical design and engineering challenges.
•Assist with daily engineering tasks as required, gaining real-world experience across different areas of mechanical engineering.
•Participate in the design and development of mechanical components.
•Create and develop AutoCAD drawings and 3D models.
•Contribute to the preparation of engineering documentation, including drawings, layouts, and technical specifications.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
•Strong technical knowledge and understanding of basic engineering principles.
•Knowledge of AutoCAD and Inventor or similar.
•Ability to read drawings and to create sketches.
•Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to quickly absorb new concepts.
