Key Responsibilities

  • •Support project staffing and resource staffing plans.
  • •Develop and maintain the Project Subcontract Execution Plan, including subcontract sourcing documentation with Engineering, Construction, and Project Management.
  • •Review, approve, and recommend subcontract tendering and award documentation; negotiate commercial terms with the Project Manager and other disciplines.
  • •Issue subcontract awards and administer subcontract activities, including pre-award clarifications, kick-off/post-award meetings, and post-award administration procedures.
  • •Manage subcontract correspondence and files in EDMS, reconcile and approve invoices, support project reporting, and lead commercial closeout while ensuring compliance with McDermott policies and mandatory training.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction, engineering, or business.
  • •10 to 15 years of relevant experience in construction or the oil and gas industry.
  • •5 to 8 years of relevant experience in procurement/material management including subcontracts administration.
  • •In-depth understanding of subcontract concepts, theories, and principles.
  • •Ability to apply industry knowledge to improve subcontract effectiveness and resolve operational and organizational problems.
