Job Summary

Lead 2–3 engineering teams building and scaling CrowdStrike’s data analytics infrastructure and data recovery capabilities. Own high-scale data-plane services that run Spark-, Flink-, and other Apache-based applications across cloud and data centers, enabling ingestion, processing, and enrichment of event stream data for the Falcon platform. Partner with product and senior leadership to deliver scalable platform services, hire and mentor engineers, and drive performance and reliability at ultra-high throughput.

•Lead multiple teams designing, scaling, and maintaining high-scale data infrastructure services operating at 100s of PBs scale.
•Own data plane infrastructure for Spark-, Flink-, and other Apache-based applications used to ingest, process, and enrich event stream data for the Falcon platform.
•Train, mentor, and continue to hire top-tier data platform engineering talent.
•Build and scale teams supporting services running within data infrastructure to meet increasing demand.
•Collaborate with engineers and product to understand requirements and deliver innovative, scalable platform products.

Salary: USD 160,000 - 250,000 annually

Key Requirements

•MS in Computer Science or related field.
•10+ years of software engineering experience building and/or managing large-scale data platforms.
•5+ years of hands-on management experience leading distributed engineering teams.
•Expertise in performance-tuning or developing internals (source code) within Spark, Flink, Iceberg, or Pinot (or equivalent real-time/streaming systems).
•Hands-on production experience with real-time/NRT ultra-high-scale data systems and JVM coding (Java/Scala/Kotlin), plus familiarity with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
