Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead multiple teams designing, scaling, and maintaining high-scale data infrastructure services operating at 100s of PBs scale.
  • •Own data plane infrastructure for Spark-, Flink-, and other Apache-based applications used to ingest, process, and enrich event stream data for the Falcon platform.
  • •Train, mentor, and continue to hire top-tier data platform engineering talent.
  • •Build and scale teams supporting services running within data infrastructure to meet increasing demand.
  • •Collaborate with engineers and product to understand requirements and deliver innovative, scalable platform products.

Key Requirements

  • •MS in Computer Science or related field.
  • •10+ years of software engineering experience building and/or managing large-scale data platforms.
  • •5+ years of hands-on management experience leading distributed engineering teams.
  • •Expertise in performance-tuning or developing internals (source code) within Spark, Flink, Iceberg, or Pinot (or equivalent real-time/streaming systems).
  • •Hands-on production experience with real-time/NRT ultra-high-scale data systems and JVM coding (Java/Scala/Kotlin), plus familiarity with the Apache Hadoop ecosystem technologies.
