•Research the U.S. distributor landscape for branded products and map supply routes and partnership requirements across relevant categories.
•Identify branded product opportunities suitable for first-party sourcing on an e-commerce platform, focusing on price-sensitive items.
•Connect with or help identify U.S. brands, distributors, and wholesale partners, and gather commercial terms (purchase price, payment terms, MOQ, inventory, and supply reliability).
•Analyze U.S. retail and e-commerce pricing mechanisms, including brand price controls (MAP), MSRP, promotional flexibility, and channel conflict; support procurement feasibility models.
•Compare marketplace seller onboarding versus first-party procurement, assess distributor-operated store price competitiveness, and identify when direct procurement is needed.
