Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical leadership and be the first point of contact for the project team on network systems.
  • •Manage network requirements/specification and design using DOORS.
  • •Develop and track network technology concept activities, including interfaces, user/management data flows, and TM/TC and M&C interfaces.
  • •Create network component requirements for ground stations, mission control, satellite control, payload control (including IT infrastructure), and data centers.
  • •Develop verification/validation concepts and lead acceptance testing; support operations phase PoC for anomalies and technical problem resolution.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in telecommunications engineering, electrical engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • •Experience managing network system teams across different departments and/or locations.
  • •Strong knowledge of network engineering, including technical interfaces, user/management data flows, and TM/TC and M&C of network devices.
  • •Experience with communication engineering and IT infrastructure for satellite communication systems and networks (including network transitions Type A & Type B).
  • •Fluent English and German for stakeholder communication.
