Job Summary

Lead risk management for AECOM’s major infrastructure projects within the Integrated Programme Controls team. Serve as the risk management lead for high-value programmes, coach and mentor a team of risk consultants, and ensure governance through risk assurance and reporting. Build and maintain risk registers, risk management plans, and conduct quantitative risk analysis (QCRA/QSRA) using tools like Monte-Carlo techniques to support bids, proposals, and informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the risk management lead for high value projects and programmes.
•Engage with project teams to ensure effective implementation of risk management.
•Provide direct risk management input to bids and proposals to secure new business.
•Perform risk assurance checks to ensure the quality of project and programme risk management.
•Develop robust risk registers, risk management plans, and risk mitigation plans, including quantitative risk analysis (QCRA/QSRA) using Monte-Carlo techniques.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or a risk management qualification (MOR, APM Risk, IRM).
•Proven experience and strong knowledge in a multi-discipline project environment.
•Proficiency with industry risk management tools (ARM, Xactium, RiskHive, Predict).
•Experience conducting quantitative risk analysis (QCRA & QSRA) using tools such as Safran, Primavera Risk Analyser, or @risk.
•Competence implementing risk management processes aligned with ISO31000 and/or project management methodologies, with experience managing a team of risk professionals.
