Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and development of scalable backend APIs and services that integrate with cloud services, with a focus on IBM Cloud
  • •Collaborate with Product, Infrastructure, and Partner teams to understand requirements and design interfaces that are intuitive and maintainable
  • •Guide the evolution of Sysdig's managed service capabilities in cloud environments, specifically IBM Cloud
  • •Influence long-term architecture and technical direction for Sysdig's integrations with IBM Cloud (IAM, authn/authz, service-to-service patterns, resiliency)
  • •Champion quality, simplicity, and clarity in system design, API design, and data modeling
  • •Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentorship, and raising engineering standards

  • •Distributed backend systems and API design experience
