Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and assist with pitch preparation, negotiation of transaction terms, execution, and distribution of event and non-event syndicated loan financing opportunities.
  • •Apply products such as traditional syndicated bank financing, Unitranche, and Term Loan B structures for complex transactions including acquisition financings, leveraged buy-outs, and recapitalisations.
  • •Prepare submissions and present to internal stakeholders on capital returns, credit and underwriting risk, and manage related exposures and documentation.
  • •Build and maintain close, frequent relationships with external stakeholders including key target clients, sponsors, and investors.
  • •Develop and maintain understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, and markets, and collaborate internally across Corporate and Institutional Bank product areas to identify cross-selling opportunities.

Key Requirements

  • •Previous experience in Loan Syndication and/or Leveraged and Acquisition Finance roles as a Vice President or Senior Associate.
  • •Experience in origination and marketing activities, including preparing credit and underwrite submissions and executing complex event-based debt financings.
  • •Strong analytical and financial modelling skills with a commercial orientation focused on credit, industry and market risk.
  • •Excellent communication skills to build strong client and internal stakeholder relationships and deliver superior service.
  • •Degree qualified in a finance-related discipline.
