Job Summary

Support Red Dog’s Integrated Planning team by developing safe, practical, value-driven short- and medium-term mine plans. Collaborate with Mine Operations, Survey, Geology, Geotechnical, Projects, and Maintenance to deliver weekly execution plans, production forecasting, and budgeting. Design drill and blast plans, monitor blast performance, and validate mine conditions in the field while tracking KPIs and improving mine planning systems, scheduling tools, and digital workflows.

•Act as a safety leader by adhering to and sponsoring safety and environmental rules and procedures.
•Complete technical work including analysis, mine design, interpretation, reporting, and recommendations.
•Develop and maintain safe, practical, executable short- and medium-term mine plans.
•Prepare drill and blast designs and monitor blast performance to support continuous improvement in fragmentation and dig ability.
•Support mine planning across multiple horizons (weekly execution plans, forecasting, budgeting), prepare production/haulage/dump plans, validate conditions in the field, and track KPIs to improve planning accuracy and efficiency.

•Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and comfort working in both office and field environments, including supporting operations in the pit.
