Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide enterprise customers through the full lifecycle of Databricks on their cloud, including platform administration from architectural design to production deployment.
  • •Architect secure, scalable enterprise deployments addressing cloud networking, private connectivity, identity (cloud IAM and enterprise identity providers), and security compliance standards.
  • •Serve as a technical specialist across cloud infrastructure, infrastructure-as-code, cloud networking, and identity management.
  • •Demonstrate Databricks differentiation in competitive scenarios by supporting technical wins with custom-built solutions.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DSAs, SAs, FDE, Partners) and operate with growing autonomy on well-scoped engagements.

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years in solutions architecture, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
  • •Strong expertise in cloud security and identity, including IAM, enterprise identity providers, and federation standards (SCIM, OAuth, SAML, OIDC).
  • •Expertise in enterprise cloud networking and deployments, including VPC/VNet design, private connectivity (e.g., PrivateLink/Private Service Connect), and dedicated interconnects (e.g., Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).
  • •Hands-on infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as Terraform, plus cloud-native tooling (e.g., AWS CloudFormation/CDK, Azure Resource Manager/Bicep, or GCP Deployment Manager).
  • •Coding proficiency in Python and PySpark/Spark, plus distributed data systems architecture knowledge (pipelines, streaming, lakehouse patterns).
