Design, implement, test, and maintain real-time satellite payload models and integrate them into system-level simulators for Boeing’s Defense Services satellite simulation team. •Conduct trade studies and develop detailed designs independently and collaboratively.
•Design and write custom tools and processes to support configuration automation and deliver high-impact solutions to complex technical challenges.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or higher.
•5+ years of experience with modern programming and scripting languages including C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, or Visual Basic.
•Experience with concurrent computing and developing multi-threaded or multi-process applications.
•Experience using Git in a Linux environment.
•Preferred: software engineering experience with low-level systems programming and skills in networking/I/O (TCP/IP, UDP), plus familiarity with satellite command/telemetry standards (e.g., CCSDS).
