Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate equipment to grind, extract, mix, blend, cook, pack, or otherwise process food or beverage products.
  • •Perform pre- and post-inspections, equipment calibration, accurate setup, and ensure proper and safe operation.
  • •Carry out preventative maintenance and operate equipment to keep production downtime minimal, including troubleshooting and repairing failures.
  • •Complete required documentation and run production reports, while continuously monitoring and adjusting processes to upstream/downstream needs.
  • •Follow Food Safety, GMP, and Health & Safety policies, and work with Food Safety and Sanitation teams to meet regulatory standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Post-secondary Education in a Mechanical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering Diploma (or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • •6 months to 1 year experience operating machinery in a food processing, manufacturing, or service industry.
  • •Ability to stand for prolonged periods with regular bending, twisting, and walking.
  • •Willingness to work in a refrigerated environment (0°C to 4°C) and to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • •High attention to detail for potential food safety or quality deviations, plus basic computer skills and English communication (verbal and written).
