Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure compliance with GAAP, regulatory accounting requirements, and rate case support obligations.
  • •Lead system administration for reporting, including master data creation, interface monitoring, issue resolution, and monthly close support.
  • •Oversee delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting inputs and respond to inquiries from External Reporting and other business partners.
  • •Liaise with internal and external auditors and support remediation of control concerns to meet Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements.
  • •Lead the team through capital-related accounting analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and resolution of complex accounting matters.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business plus seven years of experience in auditing, financial accounting, or financial reporting, including 1 year leading projects or informal leadership.
  • •Experience complying with GAAP and regulatory accounting requirements, including rate case support obligations.
  • •Experience liaising with auditors and meeting Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements for Asset Management activities.
  • •Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities, coordinating cross-functional teams and deliverables effectively.
  • •Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products and related business applications; PowerPlan experience is preferred.
