Key Responsibilities

•Supervise the LWD process on site, including tool preparation, data acquisition, log generation, quality control, and customer delivery.
•Serve as the lead engineer on most jobs and ensure service quality standards for delivered data.
•Provide expected/needed data and identify possible problems for the customer.
•Consult on mud hydraulics, bottom hole assembly (BHA) planning, formation evaluation, drilling tendencies, and BHA dynamics.
•Test tools/equipment before, during, and after jobs; troubleshoot operational problems; complete required forms, databases, and reports.

Key Requirements

•Complete a high school diploma or equivalent.
•Have at least one year of field experience in M/LWD.
•Complete the basic M/LWD training program and pass company tests (or meet task guideline requirements).
•Be able to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information and other well site data.
•Possess relevant on and offshore safety certificates and strong communication and recording skills.
