Job Summary

Oversee project-based finance operations, including budgeting support, cost and profitability monitoring, and accurate revenue recognition across PRC GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP (IFRS 15/ASC 606). Manage month-end/year-end closing, balance sheet reconciliations, and compliance with PRC accounting/tax requirements and internal control governance. Coordinate external and statutory audits, provide primary auditor liaison, and lead process improvement and team supervision within the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage project finance lifecycle, including budgeting support, cost monitoring, and profitability tracking, with appropriate revenue recognition and treatment of unbilled/deferred/revenue accruals.
•Ensure accurate accounting records under PRC GAAP, prepare group reporting packages under IFRS and/or US GAAP, and manage month-end/year-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations.
•Monitor PRC accounting/tax/regulatory compliance, maintain internal controls and documentation, and liaise with tax advisors on complex matters.
•Coordinate external statutory audits, act as primary auditor contact, and drive resolution of audit findings and management letter points.
•Strengthen accounting processes and internal controls, drive automation/standardization, supervise Assistant Accountants, and support ERP implementation/finance transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
•Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
•5–8 years of progressive accounting or auditing experience, preferably in Big 4 or construction consulting.
•Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
•Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL) processes.
