Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closing cycles and establish closing schedules to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
  • •Review and approve journal entries, complex accruals, prepaid schedules, and critical balance sheet reconciliations.
  • •Design, implement, and maintain internal accounting policies and controls for asset safeguarding, data integrity, and audit-ready documentation.
  • •Directly manage, mentor, and develop the accounting team, prioritizing workloads and maintaining execution standards.
  • •Prepare tax reports and regulatory filings for US and Canada entities, partnering with external auditors during interim and annual audits.
