Key Responsibilities

  • •Sell and merchandise quality products at local stores while driving a Smithfield Foods box truck.
  • •Deliver products, stock retail cases, and rotate inventory as required.
  • •Quote prices/credit terms and prepare sales invoices for obtained orders.
  • •Prepare end-of-day business reports, maintain daily DOT paperwork, and provide info to local management.
  • •Maintain daily truck inventory, conduct weekly physical inventory counts, and process returns/credits for defective or out-of-date products.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED is required.
  • •Minimum of 6 months experience in route sales, grocery, warehousing, or delivery.
  • •Valid Driver's License is required; CDL-B required within 90 days of start (company covers cost).
  • •Must be 21 years of age due to federal regulations.
  • •Ability to interpret instructions and write routine reports/correspondence.
