Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist in developing the company’s strategic plan considering industry dynamics, macroeconomic trends, and customer dynamics.
  • •Support strategy formulation, strategy execution, and strategic initiatives, including identifying and evaluating target markets/companies for growth.
  • •Assimilate competitive intelligence on industry suppliers, competitors, and customers to inform the strategic plan.
  • •Lead analyses such as competitive analysis, value chain analysis, scenario and risk analysis, optimization and efficiency analysis, and capital allocation/portfolio analysis.
  • •Drive progress of strategic plans, projects, and programs against organizational goals using metrics; prepare and present strategic sector and business analyses, and support M&A initiatives as required.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree preferred or Master’s degree preferred in chemical engineering (or equivalent qualification).
  • •Superior skills in financial modeling and quantitative analysis using Excel and PowerPoint (plus 5 years).
  • •5+ years of strategic planning and strategy development experience (e.g., strategy consultancy).
  • •Chemicals or broader process industries experience preferred.
  • •Strong analytical, research, organizational, and project management skills, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
