Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure all assigned daily preventive maintenance (PMs) are completed.
  • •Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
  • •Aid other teams (production and quality) when needed.
  • •Setup and visually inspect/test machinery and equipment; listen for unusual sounds to diagnose issues.
  • •Dismantle defective equipment, install new/repaired parts, and clean/lubricate shafts, bearings, and gears.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or GED) and 1+ years of related experience in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years’ direct experience.
  • •Vocational/technical diploma or an associate degree in technical maintenance/vocational school (preferred).
  • •Ability to work effectively in a team and interact with personnel and outside contractors.
  • •Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
  • •Ability to read and follow oral/written instructions, execute work orders, write daily reports, and interpret equipment manuals.
