Key Responsibilities

  • •Generate short- and medium-term production planning and forecasting, including associated reconciliations, to inform operational and metallurgical decisions.
  • •Balance critical process streams (crusher feed through to concentrate shipments) and communicate KPIs and performance reports to senior management.
  • •Maintain required plant sampling for monthly reconciliations and support internal QA/QC within the Process Plant & Metallurgy Department.
  • •Integrate new equipment (screening plant, Moly Circuit) into material balancing and production reporting systems; conduct surveys and balancing campaigns to evaluate circuit performance.
  • •Train and develop colleagues in accounting and production planning, and develop SOPs to support knowledge transfer.

Key Requirements

  • •Tertiary qualification in extractive metallurgy, mineral processing, chemical engineering, or a related field.
  • •Minimum 8 years of progressively relevant experience in base metal processing facilities.
  • •Strong commitment to safety leadership and ability to follow HSE policies and procedures.
  • •Strong metallurgical accounting and material balancing experience, including specialized computer applications and database management systems.
  • •English/Spanish verbal and written communication skills, with strong analytical and reporting/presentation abilities.
