Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a trusted finance business partner to the Country General Manager, regional leadership, and cross-functional teams to evaluate opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
  • •Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, cost management, and management reporting including variance analyses, scorecards, and performance dashboards.
  • •Provide financial leadership for artist signings and commercial transactions (licensing, royalty/publishing/distribution agreements), including deal economics and risk evaluation.
  • •Oversee the country finance function covering accounting, AP/AR, treasury, payroll, royalty processing, cash flow, and month/quarter/year-end close under IFRS and statutory requirements.
  • •Ensure governance, internal controls, and compliance with corporate policies, IFRS, and local tax/statutory obligations; manage statutory audits and drive process improvements/automation.

Key Requirements

  • •10–15 years of progressive finance experience across commercial finance, FP&A, financial control, and business partnering in multinational organisations.
  • •Experience as a finance lead for an in-country business and partnering closely with regional finance teams in a medium-to-large international organisation.
  • •Strong strategic finance and business partnering capabilities including budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, business case development, and performance reporting.
  • •Proven ability to lead finance operations, strengthen governance/internal controls, optimise finance processes, and drive continuous improvement (including automation).
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce/Business (MBA in Finance/Accounting an advantage) plus a professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA or equivalent) with strong IFRS, tax, statutory compliance, and ERP knowledge.
