Job Summary

Join AMD’s Datacenter Platform Engineering Group to drive the development and manufacturing launch of cutting-edge datacenter hardware (servers and rack systems). Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure new products meet design standards, quality targets, and production timelines, while leading NPI activities and coordinating design through production.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with Engineering Design, Materials, Rack/Server Systems Program Management, and Quality teams to align design, materials planning, manufacturing, and quality across the product development lifecycle.
•Review design specifications, CAD drawings, and documentation to ensure compliance with design criteria and manufacturing capabilities; lead DFMs to optimize production.
•Develop and maintain project schedules and readiness timelines to support on-time new product introductions; communicate status to internal stakeholders.
•Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) processes by coordinating cross-functional problem solving to resolve design or production issues and ensure smooth ramp-up.
•Establish and lead regular technical design reviews; guide ECO processes and production readiness to ensure manufacturability and high-quality output.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
•Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience in product development engineering or a closely related hardware engineering role (datacenter/servers)
•Hands-on experience guiding products from concept through development and production
•Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM) reviews and ECO processes in production environments
•Strong communication and collaboration skills to lead cross-functional problem-solving and project management
