Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver client-facing cost assessments, reviews, and assurance, including presentation of independent estimates, cost plans, benchmarks, and reconciliations.
  • •Lead the validation and challenge of assigned contractor estimates, target price/cost, and commercial submissions, especially in Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and CMAR/CMGC delivery models.
  • •Support estimating uncertainty and quantitative risk assessment for target cost validation; facilitate value engineering and cost optimization to enable informed decisions and value-for-money outcomes.
  • •Provide strategic cost advice to clients across the project lifecycle from business case and concept design through detailed design, procurement, and delivery.
  • •Mentor and develop estimating professionals, and support business development including client engagement, proposal preparation, and market growth initiatives.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years post-graduate experience in infrastructure cost estimating, or currently undertaking a comparable role in a similar environment.
  • •10–12+ years in multibillion infrastructure estimating programs, cost management, or cost assurance, including leadership on major capital projects.
  • •Demonstrated expertise across transportation, aviation, transit, highways, utilities, or other large-scale complex infrastructure sectors.
  • •Strong understanding of collaborative/alternative delivery models, including Progressive Design-Build (PDB) and CMAR/CMGC (Design-Build).
  • •Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, plus a professional designation/membership (CIQS, RICS, AACE, or equivalent).
