Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist the Director of Nursing to ensure delivery of compassionate quality care and adequate nursing supervision and staff coverage.
  • •Provide oversight of care implementation by direct care staff and recognize deviations from the service plan.
  • •Support medication management, including oversight of medication storage and administration, and carry out physicians’ orders timely.
  • •Participate in the community’s quality improvement process, including regular engagement with the Quality Committee, to address care-related problems and deficiencies.
  • •Provide leadership through adherence to resident service plans, community policies and procedures, and federal, state, and local regulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a current, active, non-restricted nursing license in the state where the community is located.
