Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage plant EHS programs and ensure compliance, supporting an accident- and incident-free culture.
  • •Conduct plant walkthroughs to detect Safety, Hygiene, and Environment risks and log findings in Mesh Prism for follow-up and correction.
  • •Coordinate preparation, obtaining, and maintenance of OpA, MESH, and ISO 14001 certifications, and maintain EHS documentation systems.
  • •Participate in internal audits of MESH and ISO 14001 and run accident investigations with lessons learned and closed corrective actions.
  • •Coordinate the Water Treatment Plant operations and manage ISO 14001 compliance, EHS training/campaigns, and EHS budget control, including supervising the EHS inspector.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or related fields).
  • •5+ years of EHS experience.
  • •At least 2 years in a leadership role with direct people management responsibilities.
  • •Experience in industrial or manufacturing sectors, preferably with Industrial Safety expertise.
  • •Advanced knowledge of Mexican health, safety, and environmental regulations, ISO 9001/ISO 14001, and problem-solving methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, 8D, 5 Whys, A3).
