Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver production-quality firmware for assigned domains including communication bus, battery charging, and actuator/motor drive control.
  • •Reduce integration risk by owning firmware-to-hardware interfaces, defining requirements with hardware architects, and resolving issues before downstream blockers.
  • •Establish diagnostic and telemetry infrastructure to accelerate end-of-line validation and enable long-term field reliability tracking.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of embedded firmware development in C/C++ on real hardware, including managing interrupts, DMA, and timing-critical execution (7+ years for senior/staff-level).
  • •Hands-on experience with microcontrollers and embedded communication interfaces including CAN, plus SPI, I²C, or UART.
  • •Ability to debug firmware on real hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or equivalent tools.
  • •Deep embedded instincts for correct behavior under real hardware conditions, including protocol edge cases and hardware fault behavior.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of safety-aware “fail safe” concepts, including protection logic and safe-state transitions.
