Job Summary

Set up, operate, and maintain additive manufacturing printers and related post-processing/ancillary equipment (including EDM, bandsaw, depowder, and hand tools) to produce high-performance aerospace and defense components. Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, handle powder in line with traceability requirements, perform daily/weekly/monthly inspections and maintenance, maintain logs, and follow safety regulations while coordinating maintenance and inventory needs.

Key Responsibilities

•Set up, operate, turn over, and maintain additive manufacturing printers while following ATI, industry, and customer procedures, standards, and specifications.
•Perform post-processing and ancillary equipment operations (EDM, bandsaw, depowder machines, and hand-grinding tools) and remove build supports.
•Handle powder processing in accordance with ATI policies to ensure traceability and purity.
•Diagnose and address machine issues using problem-solving skills prior to calling maintenance; coordinate maintenance schedules and partner with contractors/service technicians.
•Perform required daily/weekly/monthly inspections and facility/machine maintenance, perform minor repairs and calibration checks, maintain logs, and follow safety regulations.

Key Requirements

•Trade school certificate in Machining, Manufacturing, or another technical program.
•At least 1 year of additive manufacturing experience, or 7 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing maintenance or a mechanical field.
•Knowledge of manufacturing.
•Position requires a US Person due to government security clearance requirements.
•Must be able to obtain Department of Energy (DoE) and Department of Defense (DoD) Classified Clearance (ATI-sponsored).
