Job Summary

Linux BSP Engineer at SSIR India focuses on system-level software for ARM-based SOCs, developing firmware, bootloaders and Linux/RTOS drivers, with emphasis on pre-/post-silicon bring-up, power/performance optimizations and hardware emulation. You’ll work within Samsung’s SSIR Foundry System SW Team to enable advanced FAB technologies and silicon validation across LPDDR5x, HBM3, and related IPs.

Job Function: Design (Product/UX/UI/Visual)

Key Responsibilities

•Develop firmware, bootloaders, and Linux/RTOS device drivers for ARM-based SOCs.
•Perform power/performance optimizations for customer use cases.
•Develop firmware used for screening of silicon in FAB process (SLT).
•Collaborate with the SSIR Foundry System SW Team on SOC software for advanced FAB technologies (2nm–7nm) including HW IPs and GPUs.
•Provide debugging and validation using Trace32, waveform, and Verdi.

Key Requirements

•System level understanding of ARM based SOC.
•Hands on experience in bare metal programming and firmware code development.
•Expert in LPDDR5 & HBM3 bring up in pre-silicon and post-silicon environment.
•Working experience on Zebu Emulation.
•Very good understanding of caching, coherency, Interleaving and trustzone.
