Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products that change how customers interact with their money.
  • •Leverage technologies such as PyTorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Hugging Face, and Lightning to extract insights from large numeric and text datasets.
  • •Build AI foundation models across design, training, evaluation, validation, and implementation phases.
  • •Perform high-impact applied research to advance the latest AI developments into next-generation customer experiences.
  • •Collaborate with senior researchers to prepare internal tech reports or conference submissions summarizing novel methods or findings.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a PhD (or a specified MS) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or a related field (with degree completion by the start date).
  • •For the MS exception: plus 2 years of experience in Applied Research.
  • •Hands-on experience developing AI foundation models and solutions using open-source tools and cloud computing platforms.
  • •Experience building large deep learning models (language, images, events, or graphs) with expertise in areas such as robustness, explainability, or RLHF.
  • •Demonstrated ability delivering models at scale and owning a research agenda by choosing impactful problems and running long-duration projects.
