Key Responsibilities

  • •Administer GEC and construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements, PWA procedures, and Qatar regulations.
  • •Lead procurement and open tendering for construction and consultancy contracts and review tender documentation and cost estimates.
  • •Identify, assess, manage, and control commercial and contractual risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • •Manage change management and commercial variations, including assessments, value engineering proposals, and provisional sums.
  • •Administer claims, manage contractual correspondence and notices, oversee payments, prepare commercial reporting, and lead project close-out activities.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in commercial management, contracts administration, quantity surveying, cost management, or a related discipline.
  • •Demonstrated experience in roads and infrastructure projects is mandatory.
  • •Significant experience administering commercial and contractual requirements for major infrastructure projects.
  • •Proven experience managing both consultancy/GEC and construction contracts, including tendering, variations, claims, and commercial close-out.
