Key Responsibilities

  • •Independently conduct site inspections and carry out site observations to assess installation quality.
  • •Review design information, tolerances, methods of working, and assess whether test procedures and results demonstrate compliance with specifications and industry codes.
  • •Assist with reviewing project documentation for compliance and produce high-standard commissioning documentation, including Site Observation Reports.
  • •Liaise with the contractors’ commissioning team, participate in meetings/workshops, and support commission ability design reviews when requested.
  • •Track task completion and prepare lookaheads/trackers for milestones, maintain daily diaries of events/decisions on site, and support, mentor, and train colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •MEP / Building Services Engineering degree (including BSc Mechanical, BSc Electrical, or BSc Building Services) and/or equivalent diplomas/certificates.
  • •Minimum 8 years of job-related experience (or 10+ years with a College Diploma; or 12+ years with a College or Trade Certificate).
  • •Chartered Engineer (desirable but not essential) and/or Incorporated Engineer (desirable but not essential).
  • •CSA Grade 5 qualified (desirable but not essential).
  • •Certified Commissioning Authority with BCA, ACG or NEBB (desirable but not essential).
