Key Responsibilities

  • •Define technical direction and architecture for major PerfLab benchmark infrastructure areas, translating evolving needs into scalable platform roadmaps.
  • •Lead the design and implementation of reusable software, services, and workflows for benchmark definition, execution, result collection, validation, and reporting across environments.
  • •Stay hands-on with performance testing and analysis to guide platform investments and technical decisions.
  • •Establish engineering approaches to improve reliability, scalability, observability, maintainability, and reproducibility of large benchmark campaigns.
  • •Diagnose complex cross-layer issues spanning applications, Linux, containers, distributed jobs, compute resources, networking, and storage, and provide architecture/code review leadership.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •6+ years of relevant software engineering experience in system software, infrastructure, developer platforms, distributed systems, or production automation.
  • •Strong Python programming and production-quality expertise building and operating tools, services, or automation frameworks.
  • •Solid Linux/system-level understanding, including processes, concurrency, networking, storage, resource management, and failure handling.
  • •Extensive experience with containers and workload orchestration/scheduling or distributed computing platforms, with reliable interfaces, testing, observability, and recovery behavior.
