Job Summary

Design, scale, and maintain the foundational infrastructure for Roblox’s ML Platform, supporting hundreds of ML use cases and billions of inferences daily. Key Responsibilities

•Bootstrap and maintain Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure for ML Platform components including Serving Layer, Metadata Store, Model Registry, and Pipeline Orchestrator.
•Set technical strategy and oversee development of high-scale, reliable infrastructure systems.
•Propose and implement platform tooling that improves time to production for MLEs and Data Scientists across the ML lifecycle.
•Lead infrastructure projects such as GPU fleet management, hybrid-cloud orchestration, and writing custom Kubernetes controllers and resources.
•Stay current on ML and infrastructure industry trends to adopt leading technologies and practices while partnering across organizations on ML@Roblox usability.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 278,530 - 345,040 annually

Key Requirements

•6+ years of professional experience building scalable, reliable platforms with strong system design depth.
•Deep Kubernetes (K8s) and cluster management experience at scale, including writing custom Kubernetes controllers (preferred).
•Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, specifically using Terraform to automate and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, GCP, or similar environments.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a similar technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
•Experience with end-to-end ML model lifecycle components (model serving/training, ML CI/CD, and GPU resource management).
