Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage, and review mechanical design for wastewater and water infrastructure/treatment projects, including pumping station design and system analysis.
  • •Produce and review technical outputs such as technical specifications and reports, Wimes datasheets, valve schedules, equipment schedules, lifting strategies, and P&IDs.
  • •Engage across design stages (Feasibility, Outline, Detail, and Construction Design) to ensure compliance with design standards.
  • •Collaborate with other discipline teams and communicate with clients and stakeholders throughout design and planning phases.
  • •Support bids and proposal management, ensure quality delivery within budgets/timelines, review client deliverables, and mentor junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive design experience managing technical delivery of large-scale water engineering projects with multidisciplinary knowledge.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Proven experience in team leadership, mentoring, and line management.
  • •Strong collaboration and coordination skills across teams, clients, and stakeholders.
