Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, validate, and maintain discrete event simulation models using PlantSIM for manufacturing and supply chain processes.
  • •Execute end-to-end simulation projects from requirements and scoping to building, validation, and insights presentation.
  • •Analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements in production lines, logistics, and supply chain networks.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation insights into decision-making.
  • •Support digital twin initiatives by linking PlantSIM models with real-time data sources and document results and recommendations; provide PlantSIM training and knowledge sharing.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • •5+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Plant Simulation (PlantSIM) and executing simulation projects.
  • •Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain concepts, and production planning.
  • •Experience with discrete event simulation, operations research, and statistical analysis.
  • •Proficiency in PlantSIM scripting/programming (SimTalk).
