Key Responsibilities

•Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn-to-swim framework.
•Help swimmers build confidence through enjoyable lessons, with support for swimmers who progress competitively.
•Teach across casual available hours from Monday to Sunday based on contracted availability.
•Work with a customer-focused leisure team to support swimmers and the local community.
•Ensure safeguarding and lesson safety requirements are met (with DBS and provided support).

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 15 hourly

Key Requirements

•Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (previously ASA) Level 2.
•Provide excellent customer service and be comfortable working with people of all ages and backgrounds.
•Have (or be able to obtain) a DBS check for this role.
•An RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC or STA Safety Award for Teachers would be advantageous (training can be provided).
