Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan delivery journeys to support efficient supply chain operations.
  • •Support safe loading and unloading of the trailer.
  • •Carry out full safety checks on the lorry.
  • •Drive in accordance with the Highway Code, WTD, EU Drivers Hours Regulations, and internal transport guidance.
  • •Handle unexpected situations, report vehicle issues, communicate problems/delays, and complete required documentation accurately.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 19.1 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Manual UK LGV1 C+E driving licence with a maximum of 6 points.
  • •Hold a valid Driver Qualification Card with up-to-date training.
  • •Hold a valid Tachograph Card.
  • •Have previous experience driving LGV articulated vehicles.
  • •Maintain knowledge of the Highway Code and drivers’ hour regulations and related transport requirements.
