Key Responsibilities

  • •Create features for centralized GenAI safety platforms including BEATS (evaluation/auto-labeling), Excalibur (unified moderation pipeline), and ByteRadar (real-time monitoring).
  • •Develop evaluation and governance systems such as auto-labeling, safety leaderboards, prompt governance frameworks, and red-teaming tools.
  • •Build GenAI content moderation models with Algo teams to address content safety and IP/copyright risk across modalities.
  • •Create safety filters and data cleaning pipelines for GenAI foundation models and develop agentic tooling and iteration methods.
  • •Oversee long-term solution programs with stakeholders and convert GenAI risk research (jailbreaks, attack methods, policy positions) into safety features.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in product management, engineering, data science, or machine learning.
  • •Proven technical experience building solutions from the ground up across product, R&D, Algo, and DS.
  • •Fluent in Mandarin (required) and fluent in English (working language).
  • •Skilled in product design with data-driven product thinking for complex products and ecosystems.
  • •Hands-on curiosity in GenAI and AI-assisted agentic development methods (e.g., Codex, Claude Code, Mira).
