Key Responsibilities

  • •Assist other Herd Technicians with routine animal care and general farm tasks to support animal welfare.
  • •Feed, water, vaccinate, and perform general animal husbandry including basic veterinary procedures.
  • •Sanitize and wash multiple farm areas using high-pressure equipment and support facility/equipment maintenance.
  • •Assist in moving animals and maintaining efficient animal flows.
  • •Process piglets (inject medications, castrate, dock tails, ear notch) and maintain accurate production and department records.
