Originate and process residential mortgage loans for clients in a branch environment, advising borrowers on mortgage options, rates, and terms. Build and develop client loan originations through prospecting, networking, and referral-source development, while remaining the primary point of contact through closing. Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and develop new home lending client relationships to grow residential mortgage loan originations.
•Originate and process family residential real estate mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Collect documents at loan registration and act as the primary point of contact for clients through the loan process.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality by ensuring sales/originator systems and workflows are controlled effectively.
•Stay current on real estate and mortgage industry trends and provide in-person client services 4+ days/week in a branch environment.

Travel: Low travel

Salary: USD 20.67 - 31.25 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•3+ years’ experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years’ working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, ECOA, RESPA, and local/state real estate and finance laws (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated strong customer service skills.
•Proficiency in sales/originator systems and workflow management, including managing loan origination from application through closing.
