Job Summary

Operate heavy equipment and terminal machinery safely and efficiently, including crane, coke cutting equipment, and dozers, to lift, transport, and distribute petroleum coke. Conduct pre/post inspections, basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and housekeeping. Maintain proper operating procedures for decoking and drum handling, communicate with operations and maintenance teams, and respond to on-call emergency callouts. Work rotating shifts, including weekends/overtime, in dusty outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate terminal equipment safely and efficiently to lift, move, and position petroleum coke.
•Operate and monitor coke cutting equipment; perform decoking techniques and related drum handling tasks.
•Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance (lubricating, cleaning, changing filters) and perform basic troubleshooting.
•Use required PPE, inspect equipment before/after use, and report unsafe conditions or damaged protective equipment.
•Perform housekeeping/general maintenance, work rotating shifts and overtime, and respond to on-call emergency callouts.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or GED Equivalent is required.
•1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience is required.
•Maintain a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and be willing to use personal/company vehicle for work.
•Obtain/meet foreign trade zone requirements, including maintaining a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC).
•Pass required drug and alcohol testing and complete DISA/ISTC background check/testing for refinery entrance.
